HAND BLOWN GLASS OCTOPUS

Anderson's is excited to feature the "Glass Octopus" this week on our Beach Chic Blog.

In a technique called "lamp or flame working," designer Jennifer Umphress works her magic and produces these beautiful works of art inspired by your favorite sea creature. 

Jennifer is originally from Kingston, Washington, but spent many years in Hawaii where she was always inspired by the sea.  These Glass Octopuses have won many Niche awards for their intricate, detailed and artistic design and the new colors are available here first on Nantucket Island at Anderson's.

This hand blown glass decor matches perfectly with our BLU fine china. Coined the Blue Lucy, this octopus inspired serving ware is the perfect nautical statement for your seaside tablescape. WE LOVE LUCY here at Anderson's.
